About Us

Welcome to rOming Yoga!

rOming Yoga was created as a way to nourish our vibrant and growing community. Everyone’s journey to yoga is different and we embrace that. This is why we offer classes at farmers markets, parks, museums, and in studio. Our teachers have a wide range of knowledge in yoga and are here to share with you. We want you to be empowered in the process of learning and our teachers are ready to help you every step of the way.

Practicing yoga is taking the time to recharge and connect to your highest self. When you are connected to your highest self you are able to show up powerfully for those around you and handle life’s challenges with grace.

When you step on your mat to practice with us you will be encouraged to be curious, laugh and get sweaty.

Nourish + Connect + Be Curious

What We Teach

OUR CLASSES

Align & Explore
Join us for a class for those who want to begin a consistent practice. We are here to empower you to start your yoga journey. This class will help you to create the foundation of your practice and gain the tools you need to have confidence on your mat. We will provide mats and yoga props. This is the perfect class for beginners.

Chair Yoga
A gentle practice which uses a chair for stability and balance. This class is accessible to all practitioners.

Dynamic Yoga Flow (Level 1-2)
This Dynamic Yoga Flow incorporates flexibility, strength and few challenges. If you have been practicing yoga and are ready for a stronger flow, this class is for you. This is a mix class level 1 & 2.

Gentle Yoga
This is a class intended to help practitioners slow down and listen to their bodies. The practice moves slowly to allow for adjustments. In each pose, you will work to create balance and alignment in the body, while bringing calm to the mind. The teacher will offer a variety of modifications and students are encouraged to use props. All levels welcome.

Gentle & Beyond
This class is intended to offer a gentle practice with additional strength and flow for those who are looking for more movement. A middle ground between a slow practice and a breath linked flow, you will move and try different shapes with modifications offered.

Kundalini
Kundalini yoga is a combination of breath, movement, and sound. It derives from the Sanskrit word kundal, which translates to “coiled energy.” The idea is that we all have energy gathered at the base of our spine and, through the practice of Kundalini, we bring that energy up our spine through the seven chakras, and out the crown of our head. All levels welcome.

Mixed Yoga (Various Levels)
This class is designed to be a well-rounded practice of yoga. Explore the connection between breath and body as the teacher leads you through a mix of hatha and vinyasa yoga. The teacher will focus on alignment and creating fluidity between postures. Leave this class feeling strong and refreshed. All levels welcome.

Release & Restore Gentle Yoga
Combining the slow, intentional movements of a gentle class with the steady, grounding postures of a restorative class, you will leave refreshed and calm. Students are encouraged to use as many props as they feel necessary to slow down and become aware of their bodies and minds.

Slow Flow
A therapeutic practice focused on deep muscle engagement and release by matching breath and movement. We begin with a meditation and pranayama, followed by core engagement, sun salutations, and a slow flow of standing poses. We will end with floor stretches and a relaxing savasana. Alignment and strength building are emphasizes to support joints and help prevent or recover from injury. Multi-level asana variations are provided throughout class. All levels welcome.

Yin
This is a class designed to help practitioners slow down and listen to their bodies. The practice moves slowly to allow for adjustments. In each pose, you will work to create balance and alignment in the body, while bringing calm to the mind. The teacher will offer a variety of modifications and students are encouraged to use props. All levels welcome.

Yoga Strong
This class is designed to improve strength, balance, and cardio. Half of the class is dedicated to a yoga flow, connecting body and breath, and the other half uses various weights (optional), and bands. Come have some fun while getting yoga strong! All levels welcome.
